HookahBusiness.com's owner and founder John Kitovitsu was
featured on Q101 news in Chicago, IL on September 25, 2006.
The following is the transcript from the interview:
"John
Kitovitsu is a provider of nation-wide based hookah lounge
business plans for new hookah bar owners. I've seen Hookah
Bars popping up around Chicago. In Pennsylvania the laws are
Draconian. How did you get involved in this line of work? I
was in the military, traveled all over the
Middle East. I started going to hookah lounges with my friends. The
business plan I developed was because I was going to open a
hookah lounge. When you try and find a location the landlords
like to see a business plan before they give you the
location. I never opened the hookah lounge, but now I sell
the business plan to people all over the
US. They
order the hookah lounge business plan from my website. Are
hookah lounges operating with legal loopholes. Not all the
time, because it compliments their business as they serve
Middle Eastern Cuisine. Are Hookah lounges associated with
illegal substances? I don't think so, once people understand
that it’s a culturally based thing. People don't associate it
with marijuana. You don't walk by and smell a scented smell?
No, not in an establishment. If anyone does want to go to a
hookah lounge they should go to Samah its on
3330 N Clark Street.
Thanks John Kitovitsu for joining us this morning."
